TDMS experts,
I'm running my first Time based reduction project/package. I have the following DMIS support packs on my systems:
DMIS 2006_1_700 0013 SAPK-61713INDMIS
DMIS_CNT 2006_1_700 0013 SAPK-61713INDMISCNT
DMIS_EXT 2007_1_700 0007 SAPK-71707INDMISEXT
DMIS_HR 2008_1_700 0004 SAPK-81704INDMISHR
Everything has been going OK up until I got to "Data Transfer" Phase in step "fill internal header table for table EQUI"
No errors yet, but I have not seen any movement in the monitor for about 8 hours. I only see one bckgrd proc running and it's on the sender system. When I drill in using SM50 I see this statement:
SELECT
/*+
FIRST_ROWS (1)
*/
*
FROM
"QMIH"
WHERE
"MANDT"=:A0 AND "BEQUI"=:A1 AND ROWNUM <=:A2 #
Like I said, this has been running for about 8 hours. I know I'm on all the latest DMIS packages and patches for all my systems.
I have plenty of dialog and backgrd procs available in central/control and sender/receiver.
Now, I took a REALLY close look at the operations guide,,,,AFTER I already started this phase and it pointed my to SAP note 1037712 Performance of activity TD05X_FILL_EQUI.
It says to set the activity parameter P_FULL to the value 'X' for the activities TD05X_FILL_EQUI and TD05X_FILL_EQUI_O in transaction CNVMBTACTPAR.....after importing the note.
Now, the note corrections don't apply to me, since I'm on a later support package. But I defintely do not have the "X" value set as documented in the NOTE.
So my real question is should I set this now? Would it help since I'm already in the phase/step? Also what about setting an index for table QMIH, with Keys MANDT and BEQUI. But again, would that help since I'm already in the middle of it.
Much appreciated,
NICK
