When I am executing Start Data Transfer step system ends up with error - "Execution of program /1CADMC/OLC_000000000144318 failed, return code 2" or Z_PA0022_014: Function module "/1CADMC/OLO_000000000093370" notfound. For each table (f.ex. PA0000, PA0001, ..., or HRP1000, etc.) system generates such error message.
I tried to change Write Behaviour (all available options) but it doesn't resolve the problem.
Have you ever had such problem?

Hi all,
After succesfully finishing a time based reduction scenario, including postprocessing, I get the error "Inconsistency with address (Address doesn't exist 25205)" when using SU01.
An earlier thread mentions note 450176 (Correction report for the USCOMPANY table) but this is only valid to 640 and we are running ECC 6.0.
Any suggestions?

I use TDMS 3.0 and "time based reduction for ERP"
Now I do a step "Fill Header Tables (Collective Exec.)
Background job "Fill Intednal Header Table for Table BKPF and BSEG" aborted with dump "TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED" in source system.
And step "Fill Header Tables (Collective Exec.) in status "aborted"
I changed some memory parameters in source system.
But how do I re-run aborted actitvity?
If I restart activity I get message:
I also tried to manually change status of the activity, but it didn't help.
Please help me to rastart this activity.

I've some questions about TDMS prerequisites.
I know that repository consistency between Sender and Receiver need to be checked before performing SAP TDMS scenario.
But my question is, how to ensure consistency between Production System and Quality System?
Repository means workbench and cross client customizing.
So there are usually inconsistencies between production and quality systems.
TDMS does not work if the two systems are not aligned?
Do we have some recommandations, or best practices to make it happened?

Am working on some scenarios where I got an error while executing a step " Preparation of Tables for Data Transfer". I have attached the screenshot for your reference and also the text from the log , below. Wondering if anyone experienced this kind of error and how this could be resolved. Below is the message from the Log. ======= Message Long Text MWB modules missing in system with RFC destination MBT_DD1_EX1_300_00_MBT Message no. DMC_UTIL_MSG003 Diagnosis The system sporting the RFC-destination MBT_DD1_EX1_300_00_MBT is either a sender or a receiver system for data transfer. For the transfer to be executed certain function modules have to be transported into the sender- and receiver system. This has not been done yet. System Response Execution had to be stopped. Procedure Transport the missing objects into the sender- and receiver system ======================
I read thru the guides for SLO and get the impression that SLO can be used to do data conversion.
For example, it can convert an Oracle DB based non-SAP system into an SAP client.
Is this true?
Our company hires tons of high level consultants to convert non SAP HR systems into SAP HR
systems.
With the magic box SLO, all consultants are no longer needed?

A quick question on TDMS connectivity, as I heard that its not recommended to connect the TDMS server directly to the production box, as there would be a HUGE Impact on performance on the production system, while reading the data during the extraction process.. We have 15 TB of data in the production system and we are trying to extract 1-2 TB worth of data from the prod by store wise/warehouse wise etc.. If the production system performance would be Impacted with this, then what is the best recommend solution/approach. Connect TDMS central/controller to a production copy? Are there any guidelines on this?

We have installed TDMS 4.0 SP07, now we are in process of Scrambling rules creation
Our few requirements are:
1. Scrambling of Employee salary data while migrating from PRD to QAS and need to change 4 fields in one table.
2. We want to copy whole client data using "Full transfer of Client-Specific Data" with above scrambling rules including.
My queries are:
1. Can I create a rule using scrambling type " Value Range Table" with some min & max value range to scramble the salary field to unknown number?
2. Or I need to select scrambling type " No mapping " and create a custom code to scramble the data?
3. And can I include these rules in " Full Transfer of Client-Specific Data" and Execute?
Please provide your valuable suggestion.

Hi folks
I searched around, but wasn't able to come up with a solution so far. Is there something like a generic report to cleanup the views, temporary tables and stuff in the control, receiver and sender system?
Or do you simply deactivate a package, delete the project and start from scratch, without bothering about leftover entries in CNV* tables and such?

BTW: An official uninstall of the DMIS* addons would be most appreciated. I know this is usually not possible but TDMS seems to be properly self-contained, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I am attempting to use TDMS to load Master data to a Dev system from QA.
I am using TDMS 4.0.
DMIS 2011_1_731 0005
RFC Destinations are set up correctly, with green lights. I have been able to synchronize them, green light there too. Logical System Name has been assigned.
While running "Preparation of Tables for Data Transfer" the program CNV_MBTCNV_MBT_PEM_START starts running in batch, and it in turn calls program CNV_MBT_CNV_MBT_CUSTOMER_SEARCH 5 times to also run in batch on the Control system.
Within a couple seconds, the CNV_MBT_CNV_MBT_CUSTOMER_SEARCH program cancels with the error message

All 5 of the programs give the same error, and then the PEM_START program abends after the fifth one with this error abends.

On the Sender QA system I see 5 Runtime Errors in ST22.

The table CNVMBTSUBSTATE on the QA (Sender System) has NO data in it.
The table CNVMBTSUBSTATE on the Control system has records from long ago when we used the tool (before we upgraded to 4.0)
The table CNVMBTSUBSTATE on the Receiver system also has some records in it.
Any idea on what I should check next?
We tried giving the TDMS User "ALMOST ALL" access on the Sender system, and still got the same error.

getting hard short dumps in activity "data deletion in Receiver System" with Client deletion Methode "drop_insert" - cause of "SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC" - in program "CNV_MBT_DEL_RUN_DELETION_01 -
could not find any note or info in sap market place or Internet -
there is any help here ?

Is there any way to estimate the run time for R3szchk per DB size, usage type, DB type, etc.

OR
SAP has its own solution for (CREATE archive files, WRITE archive files and DELETE from database).
Any pointers for some more information on different stages of SAP Data Archiving project. (Any links to how-to documents would be great help.)

now scenario is we have multiple company code and we need to copy only one company code data plus config from source to new destination client.
Is it possible in TDMS ?

I have created a project for System shell creation for ERP, facing erorr : Destination for sender system is not found when i execute activity Modification of control files to exclude tables.
Status of system landscape used for this project is consistent, no error in RFC destination.
Note: My sender system and control system of TDMS are same system with same client. Did anyone faced this issue.

I have a test system 198GB on SQL Server 2008. I want to copy it on another server as SQL Server 2012. I setup a new server and database . I took a full backup of DB. Database is ready for transportation. I checked many SAP notes about migration but i still couldn't find a solution about how can i transport SAP files correctly. To improve my skills on migration i want to copy system on this server. I am keep searching but can you please lead me on right notes? If you have another solution i'm open for any advice..

In a landscape say we have ECC CRM and SRM systems and respective non-prod systems to be refreshed from production.
Requirement is , a friday 5PM PST we need to take data snap shot for all three systems , can we do it via File based TDMS refresh ?
Can i create this export file my self without BASIS help ?
Would like to explore FILE based refresh to see if we can optimize refresh process compared to RFC method.
I went through few SCN documents , kindly forward any you have and also share BKM's
